Library Programming

I have extensive experience in planning and designing library programming for Adults, which includes:

  • Scheduling presenters and instructors
  • Planning and designing program and class content
  • Creating and distributing marketing materials including press releases, posters, fliers, handouts, etc. [Click HERE for a selection of marketing materials I designed.]
  • Promoting programs and classes via newsletter, social media, digital presentations, word-of-mouth, etc.

At my current library, I created Program Proposal Guidelines in order to make the selection, planning, and scheduling of library programs a more structured and efficient process. The guidelines provide interested program provides with essential information regarding the types of programs the library is looking to provide, and it allows them to submit a program proposal via an online form. These proposals are then used by the Librarians to plan and schedule programming.
